What is Swastik (Swastika)?
‘Swasti’ is a Sanskrit word which means, ‘May all be with you that you wish’. It is an important symbol in Hinduism, just like Aum. To learn how and why the sign plays an important role, you need to go back in the time when the beginning of the earth was started. The explosion and scattering of comets and meteors in the solar system were believed to be in the shape of Swastik. This explosion is known as ‘Big Bang Theory’ which formed the earth and other planets. Swastik signifies ‘Sun’ who is the source of energy of all the planets.
